Supply Chain
Our supply chain primarily consists of energy and water suppliers, as well as providers of operational services such as waste collection, maintenance, security, and cleaning. We consistently assess the reputational risks of our suppliers by monitoring media coverage related to ethics, human rights, and corruption.
FibraShop always seeks local suppliers to reduce emissions and support the local economy. In 2022, we had 934 suppliers, of which 99.79% were domestic, and 19.98% of our purchases were from local sources.
In 2022, we worked on developing a strategy to engage and collaborate with our suppliers in order to incorporate environmental and social criteria into their selection and evaluation processes. By monitoring and managing the environmental and social impact of their operations, we enhance transparency and information disclosure in line with the demands of various stakeholders.
As a first step in our responsible sourcing strategy, we designed an environmental, social, and governance (ESG) assessment questionnaire for 21 suppliers. The questionnaire is designed to understand their current situation in these areas. The results allow us to identify strengths and improvement opportunities that we could work on together, both in terms of information availability and management.
The ESG assessment questionnaire for suppliers aligns with recognized standards such as GRI, SASB, and S&P Global. It covers relevant supply chain topics such as ethics and regulatory compliance, human rights, environment, health and safety, workforce management, and community engagement.
Throughout 2023 and 2024, we will continue evaluating our suppliers to achieve full coverage of our supply chain.
