Life Centers and Certifications

Certifications

Within our business model, from the outset, we aimed to implement a creative and innovative concept that prioritizes our community. Thus, we sought to provide people with a space that fosters social, cultural, artistic, and sports activities in sustainable environments. This concept is what we call “Life Center.” The primary objective of these centers is to become anchors that attract people’s flow. This approach sets us apart from traditional shopping centers, where stores typically act as anchors to generate foot traffic. All of this is done while adhering to best

As a result, we decided to embark on our first Life Center with La Perla, located in Zapopan, Jalisco. Today, La Perla is the largest sustainable commercial property in Latin America certified under the EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) standard, accounting for 25% of our portfolio’s square meters. Our short-term challenge now is to implement this concept in our other properties and to achieve EDGE certification for over 35% of the total square meters within our portfolio.

The EDGE standard is a globally recognized tool that evaluates and certifies the sustainability of projects, promoting energy efficiency, responsible water use, and the reduction of carbon emissions. Our commitment to certifying over 35% of our portfolio’s square meters with the EDGE standard reflects our proactive approach to creating a more sustainable and economically viable built environment.
