Biodiversity and Protected Natural Areas
Biodiversity is of vital importance for the proper functioning of the planet, due to its fundamental role in maintaining ecosystem balance and providing essential ecosystem services. At FibraShop, we are committed to the protection and preservation of the ecosystems in which we operate and are aware of our role in contributing to a more sustainable and environmentally responsible approach in the shopping center real estate sector.
We recognize that the development and operation of real estate assets provide an opportunity to promote harmonious coexistence with the natural environment and contribute to the conservation of ecosystems associated with our properties. Therefore, we incorporate environmental and biodiversity criteria into our ESG strategy, with the goal of reducing our environmental impacts and promoting responsible management of our assets.
Properties Near Protected Natural Areas:
As part of our environmental and biodiversity management approach, in 2022 we assessed the proximity of our properties to Protected Natural Areas (ANPs) managed by relevant environmental authorities. This analysis allows us to identify possible interactions with significant ecosystems and strengthen measures aimed at minimizing environmental impacts associated with our operations. In any case, we continue working to align with TNFD recommendations, with the goal of progressively advancing the identification, management, and disclosure of nature- and biodiversity-related aspects.

Progress in Implementing TNFD Recommendations
We have conducted an analysis of our current situation to ensure that we make informed decisions and can adjust our strategies more accurately based on these results. This study was carried out in accordance with GRI standards, the recommendations of the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and the guidelines of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).
